Award Shows

OOH viewers continue to come out in large numbers for award shows. The 77th Annual Golden Globes on NBC on Sunday, January 5th averaged 2.45MM OOH viewers. As we noted last year, the NFL lead-in may have played a factor in capturing OOH viewers. The 62nd Annual Grammy Awards on CBS this past Sunday averaged 1.71MM OOH viewers – the most-watched program of the week among OOH viewers.

HGTV

We saw in 2019 that OOH viewers took interest in HGTV programs, home makeover shows in particular, and that trend has continued so far in 2020 as three HGTV programs cracked the Top Ten Entertainment for the week of December 30th, one for the weeks of January 6th and 13th and two for the week of January 20th. The shows that have made Top Tens include Beach Hunters, Fixer Upper, Good Bones and Beachfront Bargain Hunt
