Golf is a Top Driver for Week of Aug, 6th OOH Viewing

Some personalities can drive large OOH audiences. Tiger Woods is one of them. This past weekend The PGA Championship on Sunday averaged 4,405,000 OOH viewers for CBS.  The average audience for the Sunday portion on CBS was comparable to The World Cup Finals between France and Croatia on Fox. The event peaked at 6,936,000 OOH viewers according to Tunity Analytics proprietary estimation model.  Overall Golf had four of the top ten programs between TNT and CBS.

The preseason has just begun but already the NFL is making its presence felt. Two Thursday night games cracked the top ten.  This is likely the tip of the iceberg as we approach the start of the regular season.
