When Stanley Heard Gloria: NHL Brings in Millions of OOH Viewers

The NHL Stanley Cup Finals went to Game 7, bringing in 6,666,000 OOH viewers to watch the St. Louis Blues win their first Stanley Cup (and hear Laura Branigan’s “Gloria” during the Blues’ victory celebration!). This is double the amount of OOH viewers that the second highest game received (Game 5: 2,987,000). Games 4, 5, and 6 made the top 5 in the Tunity Analytics OOH program rankers the week of June 3rd with over 2 million viewers each. Game 7 rounded out the top 3 in the total programs OOH ranker.

His combination of experience with media and custom research, location, and OOH measurements at Nielsen have allowed him to develop a new metric to capture OOH viewing insights based on Tunity’s traffic, tuning, and attention data.
